ABOUT US

The story behind The Souks

With Morocco as my second home, I started The Souks on one of my trips to the Atlas Mountains. The brand stands for a mix of everything that makes this country so unique: a dynamic culture, passion for craftsmanship, handicraft and a wealth of materials.

The Souks promotes the quality of handmade products. Because I immerse myself in culture and interior, I carefully create a collection with unique designs. Almost every item has a vintage look and is unique in its kind.

The philosophy of The Souks is about supporting the small business owner. My frequent visits to Morocco help me build strong, healthy relationships with my local partners.

The Souks continues to grow, with each new journey we take. Feel welcome to step aboard!

love,
Sandra – founder of The Souks

THE SOUKS

Let everyone enjoy our 'treasures'

The Souks stands for authentic and handmade. A great passion for traveling and shopping. Bring special “treasures” with you to ensure that everyone can enjoy them. Mainly small runs where Sandra takes the local population into account when purchasing.

We select everything ourselves in Morocco. The contacts we have made have all become good acquaintances. We like to support the small entrepreneur and in this way we build good ties with the suppliers. For Sandra these are important things to keep in mind when running this webstore.

“After a visit to the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, I was immediately sold. The most beautiful cushions I’ve ever seen, beautiful colours, authentic and above all special eye-catchers. The cushions are handmade and have a vintage look. The cushions are made of Berber rugs that are selected by me. Only one of each pillow is available. Not only do I want to share my love for these pillows, because I have come across many more beautiful items while traveling!”
