All our decorations are handmade -and with love- by our Moroccan craftsmen, based on traditional styles and on our own designs.

With our traditional and contemporary designs you can vary endlessly and add just that right Moroccan touch to your interior. In the collection of The Souks you will find a wide range of decorative items: from mirrors to lamps, from glassware to candlesticks, from traditional pottery to the most beautiful wicker items. All handmade by our Moroccan craftsmen, inspired by traditional items and given a new look by our design team.

Some of our accessories and decorative items – especially glass and pottery – are shipped from our office instead of our warehouse. There we will pack your package with care. We aim to ship your order within 2-5 business days. Baskets are delivered from our warehouse and have the usual delivery time. If you have combined multiple products in 1 order, it is possible that your order will arrive in 2 packages.
Not more fragile than other glass and pottery, but of course these items require good protection and some extra love and care. That is why we ship these products from our office, where we pack your package with the greatest care. In the unlikely event that a product does arrive damaged, please send us a picture of the product and the entire packaging within 2 days of receiving your package. Of course we will solve this together.
Yes, they can! Do not put them in the oven or microwave.
In principle yes, at least for the average variants. Look for sizes and specs on the product page of your chosen lamp. If you have additional questions, you can always email info@thesouks.com.
You install the lampshade by unscrewing the wheel of the lamp base, then you place the lampshade on the base, then you put the wheel back so that the lampshade remains firmly in place. Now put the light bulb in, et voilà!
We have the lampshades made in a variety of sizes. Check out the product page for additional information. If you have a special request, please feel free to let us know. We may still have stock or be able to have your favorite item remade.
Of course you can. As with any product, you have 14 days to consider to keep it or not. If you are not entirely satisfied with a product, please let us know at info@thesouks.com.
Place your item in a suitable packaging (preferably the original) and protect your item properly. Deliver your package to a PostNL point or another postal service of your choice. Make sure to keep the shipping note, so you can track the package. As a customer you are responsible for returning a product safely and in time.
The cost of a return can be checked with the postal service with which you want to send the package back. At PostNL this usually varies between € 4.95 and € 7.50.
When we have received your return in good order, the return is processed in our system and we deposit the purchase amount back. This also applies to sale items.
Let us know in the comments of your order that it is a gift, then we will try our best to make it a nice gift.
That depends on whether it is a vintage or new item. Vintage pieces are usually one of a kind, so there’s only one of each piece available. Tamegroute items usually always come back in the collection. Decorative items that we design and have manufactured ourselves may sometimes come back into stock. Feel free to let us know what you’re looking for, and we’ll be happy to help!
