These treasures are thoughtfully hand-picked and carefully crafted by the Berbers. The rugs are named after the Berber village ‘Beni Ouarain’ in the Mid-Atlas mountain range.

This typical Beni Ouarain rug is traditionally knotted with nothing else but wool. To maintain its quality and its softness, the rug is traditionally washed with soap and, subsequently dried in the sun. This process ensures a pleasant and soft texture. Each rug has a unique design.

We proudly present you ‘The Dazzling Desert’ collection, where our love for design goes hand in hand with Moroccan craftsmanship. We got inspired by serenity, mother nature with her organic shapes and fairytale forests and skies, and contemporary art with a colorful twist. The color palette is executed in forest green, Majorelle blue, funky fuchsia, timeless black and calm beige and off-white. We have used natural materials that are also the common thread at The Souks: high-quality wool, terracotta, rattan and brass. The items are handmade with love by our beloved Moroccan craftsmen.
