The Beni Ouarain rugs are carefully selected in Morocco by yours truly. The rugs are named after the Berber village 'Beni Ouarain' in the Mid-Atlas mountainrange, where they are carefully crafted by the Berbers.
A typical Beni Ouarain rug is traditionally knotted with nothing else but wool. To maintain its quality and its softness, the rug is traditionally washed with soap and, subsequently dried in the sun, which ensures a pleasant and soft texture.
We decided to make pillows from the rugs!
Material: front 100% wool, back 100% cotton
Please see the second picture for the back of the pillow, we made this from a natural cotton fabric.
